Introduction

This section provides letters of reference by professionals. The letters describe various ETM applications. The references were graciously submitted for publication to Craig Carson. He is a Certified ETM Trainer and the professional who originally provided the ETM Professional Training School to these individuals.

Please note the following editor's changes to the letters. Where they may have referred to Trauma Resolution Therapy (TRT) and the Integrated Trauma Management System, the letters have been updated to reflect Etiotropic Trauma Management (ETM). It is the parent management model for TRT and the replacement name for ITMS (Integrated Trauma Management System).

As you may know from having read About/ Development/ History, "Etiotropic Trauma Management" ("ETM") is intended to consolidate the meaning of the various near- and long-term trauma clinical and management applications otherwise used to reference the etiotropic - focused, structured psychodynamic model TRT and its clinical and crisis management counterparts.

These letters were submitted between 1992 and January, 1994. Additional letters received since are being codified so that they may be placed on this site.

I am grateful for these professional references and thank the authors.
